Dragonfly Integra 2 D/LSM
The Dragonfly Integra 2 is designed for the advancing player looking to upgrade from an alloy to carbon fiber shaft. Hand crafted for the most dynamic player, Integra 2 features the same technology you expect from the Dragonfly name. Proven at the highest level of the game, the Dragonfly Integra 2 shaft holds a proud spot within our Integra collection of equipment. The Integra 2 comes in your favorite geometry, C60 iQ8. Epoch’s standard concave shaft offers a familiar feel for players looking to add some new technology to their game. Proudly made in the USA.

We strive to design and produce the highest quality equipment using the best raw materials, with an overall seamless manufacturing process. This means bringing our designs and technology back to the states giving us unparalleled quality control. The original Integra Shaft was our first shaft ever produced here in the states, and we are continuing that tradition with the introduction of the Dragonfly Integra 2 handle.
Understanding the dynamics and forces present in lacrosse, we developed Torque Box technology to maintain the continuity of the shaft’s geometry and maximize energy transfer to the head during a pass or shot. As a lacrosse shaft moves during the act of shooting, the force generated puts stress on the fibers causing the shaft to flex. As a conventional composite shaft flexes, the natural geometry of the shaft can be compromised initiating ovalization of the shaft, resulting in the loss of energy. Epoch exclusive Torque Box Technology works by making specific changes to critical carbon fiber layers to minimize this phenomenon. Torque Box technology improves and optimizes the transfer of energy in the shaft, maximizing performance and playability.
The Dragonfly Eight Dragonfly utilizes unidirectional carbon fiber prepreg with a lower F.A.W. (Fiber Areal Weight) than conventional shafts. These smaller, lighter fibers allow for a tighter orientation of the carbon fiber. More fibers equals increased durability.
Highly engineered “gritty” textured topcoat, which allows for consistent grip to be maintained in all weather, while also allowing the shaft to move freely through your hands
“Kick” Up Your Game.
The Dragonfly’s Uniform Release point is designed to maximize shaft performance by creating a natural kick-point or flex point just above your top hand, when shooting and passing.
We achieve flex by manipulating the orientation of the carbon fiber. Our shaft’s bend when you need it to, but retains its firmness for maximum control. Conventional shafts that tout flex often use fiberglass, a cheaper, less durable material, to increase the bendability. Don’t sacrifice your game, choose Epoch.
When passing or shooting, a load is introduced to the shaft causing it to flex back, which causes the carbon fibers to be stretched along the front of the shaft and compressed along the back. Reload Technology takes advantage of this situation by using low F.A.W. (Fiber Areal Weight) and high-modulus carbon fiber, which creates urgency for the fibers to return to their natural position for maximum recoil
The carbon fiber pre-preg used in Epoch shafts undergoes a chemical surface treatment process to improve the mechanical “locking” (compatibility) between the fibers and the matrix resin. The result is better laminate properties of the carbon fiber. An improved laminate results in better load transfer (energy) for increased durability.
Our Advanced Carbon Layering (A.C.L.) is what separates Epoch shafts from conventional composite shafts. By layering low F.A.W., uni-directional carbon fiber pre-preg in a specific manner we can control several aspects of the shaft’s performance, including flex, durability, weight and release point.
