The Final Game: PLL Championship Preview

Two jam-packed weeks of professional lacrosse have come down to a championship match-up that no one could have predicted at the end of Group Play. This Sunday, the #1 seed Whipsnakes will face off against the #7 seed Chaos for the title.

Despite an 0-4 record after Group Play, Chaos is playing their best lacrosse of the Series in the playoffs following some key adjustments in the game plan and the lineups. Led by a dangerous Josh Byrne on the offensive end – who’s tied for 3rd in the league for points – Chaos is looking to ride this playoff energy to a championship victory. Epoch Athlete Jarrod Neumann is sure to be an anchor on defense as well, second only to LSM and Epoch Athlete Troy Reh on the team in ground balls. Playing with a versatile high-powered style, Chaos are sure to step on the field with a vengeance.

On the other side, the Whipsnakes are right where they want to be – exactly the same spot as last year. Their experience in championship games could prove to be essential this Sunday. Expect unprecedented play from league-leader in points and Epoch Athlete Matt Rambo, who won the title for his team last year in an OT victory against the Redwoods. Plus, the Whips are getting MVP-level faceoff play out of Joe Nardella, translating into huge possessions and goals.

Each team is ready to battle for dominance on Sunday in this exciting conclusion to the PLL Championship Series. Who do you have coming out on top? Be sure to tune in to catch the game and see the winners crowned.
